What do I ask

myself?
Evidence
What is it I want to focus on? (ICT goal either integrating ICT or your pedagogical goal)
My main goal was to display the learning intentions in the room, instead of just putting in a book and hiding it away.

I also aimed to put them up exactly how they were co-constructed with the children and not Published out by me.

My ICT focus was to use the narrative stories the children were writing and publish them into an imovie which could be put onto their wiki page for parents to view.

What is important therefore
worth spending time on?

What strategies could help my students learning?
Co-constructing LI and SC with the children and referring back to it during subsequent sessions.

Think, pair, share and using APE cards.

What strategies (evidence based)
are most likely to help my students
learn this?

What happened? What are the implications for my teaching?
The narrative stories went well and I layered the Learning Intentions and looked at different sections indepth. These were colour coded so made the display have more visual impact.

Need to make APE cards more user friendly and give focus for the feedback and feedforward.

IMovies were . Used buddies from Year 8 to guide several children but can see using this tool lots in the class programme.

What happened as a result of
the teaching and what are the
implications for the future?

To get next steps in learning through self and peer assesment

What strategies could help my students learning?
Use self and peer marking strategies - highlight, bubbles, peer prattle, muddiest point
use the discussion section on wiki to comment on others work

Children are being more vocal on the bubbles and it is no longer just service talk...actually more honesty
happening in it. I use the the highlight - orange / green for self assessment more they do this before going to
partner share about it. After work is loaded onto the wiki site - children do go on and give each other feedback...Parents
are only just starting to do this.Still need to work on the APE cards....am finding the chldren really need to be focused
on what they are looking for / at - it is definitely a work in progress.
